Medicus Health: Our Dream

Welcome to the Medicus Health Consultancy online blog.

We are a nationally-owned medical start-up with a passion for primary health, sports medicine, and emergency care - the modern, more holistic way of looking at emergency medicine. Through this platform, we hope to share practical health information, sports and injury advice, and insights from the emergency department that matter to everyday life in Papua New Guinea.

We are Emergency Physicians by training, having recently completed our Masters of Medicine in Emergency Medicine in October 2025, and we are excited to bring this level of expertise closer to our communities in Port Moresby. Over nearly ten years working in public hospitals, we have seen the impact of busy systems, long waiting times, and fragmented follow-up on patient outcomes. These experiences shape everything we do at Medicus.

Our long-term dream is to build a modern, accessible primary health clinic - one that offers efficient, high-quality care without long queues or unaffordable bills. Our current services, both in-person and online, are the first steps toward that vision, and this blog is part of that journey: a space to inform, educate and connect with you.
