What a year 2025 has been - and what a way to begin our journey as a new medical venture.
Launching Medicus Health Consultancy while working full-time as Emergency Medicine doctors, studying for our final exams, and providing weekend sports cover has not been easy. But we are grateful - we made it through.
This year, we were privileged to be deeply immersed in sports medicine. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the PNG SP Hunters RFL for trusting us as their team doctors, and to PNG Rugby Football League (PNG RFL) for the opportunity to provide sideline medical cover throughout the Digicel Cup, Santos Cup, and later for the Prime Minister’s XIII and the Pacific Championships games.
These experiences have strengthened our skills and sharpened our focus, especially in rugby league sports medicine. We remain committed to improving player welfare by lifting standards of care and safety for rugby league athletes across the country.
As we look ahead to 2026, we are excited about building on this foundation - working towards better, safer rugby and sport in Papua New Guinea.
